Music Matters is a high level conference covering all aspect of the music business. The 2012 programme included key discussion points on the developments of Asia’s live music and festivals business, core issues in launching digital services, as well as focusing on the high volume but fragmented markets in Asia including India, China, Japan and Korea.

Digital Matters 2012 focused on innovation and technological advancement in the entertainment business. In 2012, we addressed issues on cross platform viewer experience, financing options in the technology and media industry, in addition to critical business development in digital advertising and social media.    

Featuring over 40 great bands from 18 countries and thousands of fans. Music Matters Live with HP took place in seven Clarke Quay bars and clubs, also with a Main Stage built in Fountain Square.

All of the bands were in town for one reason; to be discovered by the music industry and to gain new followers. The Music festival was the grand finale to the week that held the Music Matters and Digital Matters industry forums in Singapore.

Digital Matters 2011, produced in association with CASBAA, the venue for showcasing innovation, sharing success stories and collaborating with new partners for new business models. Participants gained a unique perspective into online entertainment services from market leaders and innovators, and were offered opportunities to connect through content. A selection of confirmed speakers for Digital Matters 2011 included Microsoft Advertising, Facebook, Ogilvy, Nokia, Sony Network Entertainment, MTV Asia, SingTel Digital Media, Motion Picture Association, MediaCorp, ESPN STAR Sports, TVB.com, Dell, FOX Networks Group, Vocanic, Tiger Gate, Indiavibes, MCM Entertainment Group, IAB Singapore, Mobile Roadie, TAG Strategic and more. Digital Matters, proudly co-located with Music Matters, brought the digital entertainment ecosystem under one roof.

With over 1,200 participants from 30 countries including 176 speakers and over 40 bands, Digital Matters, Music Matters and Music Matters Live with HP rocked Singapore from 24th May to 28th May 2011.

Now into its sixth year the entertainment industry descended on Singapore for the first time, gathering at the five-star Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore Hotel and at music venues in and around Clarke Quay.
